00:17:53 to the the shepherd's call which we will find from the conversation that John is about to have with PA with Peter so think about Peter's circumstances Peter's very good at saying the wrong thing at the right time and uh and so Peter is he denied the Lord three times um he is kind of kind of a little bit shaky on what he should do and what he shouldn't do um and he's going to be in this conversation with Jesus and the thing that you want to pull out of this is this is that when Jesus is talking to

00:44:45 the lost sheep who have yet to receive the Gospel and let's remember we are a part of God's Great mission to save the world through his son to offer Jesus Christ Christ the bread of Life by proclaiming The Gospel so let's take the bread [Music] together and he took a cup and when he had given thanks he said take this and divide it among yourself for I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the wine until the kingdom of God comes this cup that is poured out for you is the New Covenant in my blood
00:45:27 the cup symbolizes Jesus blood shed on the cross for the payment of our sin and through his blood we enter the New Covenant though Jesus isn't physically present with us today we have the Holy Spirit who lead us towards Godly obedience to God himself and through this Holy Spirit Jesus promises to be with us as we go and make disciples but Jesus physical absence is not forever one day Christ will come again and we will celebrate together not only with the Believers in FBC it will be with the global
