SUNDAY SCHOOL is a Ministry where teachers partner with parents to nurture a strong spiritual foundation in the lives of our children.
Building a strong spiritual foundation at an early age, is critical for the children to grow into teenagers and adults who know Jesus’ amazing love. We pray they may grow in confidence, to say, “I am a Child of God” (1 John 3:1).
Our Sunday School classes are held concurrently with our two main worship services at 8.45 am (Gospel Kids) and 11.15 am (Kingdom Kids).
On the first Sundays of each month and Special Events Sundays, the children join their parents in the Main Worship at the Main Sanctuary as an integral part of the FBC Family before they disperse to their class activities.
On other Sundays, the children gather in Room B101 (First floor), for a time of Children’s Worship and a Bible story video lesson, before they are dismissed to their individual classes
Sunday School Age Groups
The children are separated into classes based on age groups in order that the lessons and activities can be tailored to age-group needs.
Sunday School Curriculum
Sunday School lessons are presented in creative ways to the class. They are designed to help the children understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories but “One central-themed story of God’s love and redemption”. Craft activities, quizzes, videos, and games are used to reinforce the key points in Bible lessons every week.
Friendship, Leadership, and Service in God’s Community
Sunday School is a hub for social interaction for the children as they learn about God and forge friendships with one another. Here, the children also learn to lead worship and pray together amidst sharing memorable fun times with one another.
Leadership and Service in God’s community are encouraged in inter-generational activities, for example during Mother’s Day / Father’s Day celebrations, Christmas presentations, etc.

Our teachers are a dedicated group and share a common passion and desire to serve the Lord.
Sunday School offers training programs to equip our teachers with new skills that are essential for teaching and guiding young children in the Word of God.
