The Oldest Youth Uniformed Movement of the World
4th October 1883, Glasgow, Scotland. That was the start of something special. Something that lasted until today. That was the birth of Boys’ Brigade – the oldest youth uniformed movement of the world. Not only that, it was the catalyst for all other youth uniformed bodies today. 117 years later, we have the privilege of sponsoring and establishing The 2nd Subang Jaya Company as a key ministry of this church.
The essence or the movement is captured in our BB Object, “The advancement of Christ’s kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.”
We believe in training up a child to be disciplined and to be God fearing, something that is very much needed and relevant in the society of today. Our motto is Sure and Steadfast an it is taken from Hebrews 6:19 of the bible (KJV).
