Sermon Recap: Joseph and Temptation (Genesis 39)

God commissions pure vessels – vessels made pure because of what Christ has done. Our purity or impurity has impact on generations to come.
Joseph did not sugercoat sin, understood God’s holiness and did not play with fire. His integrity in refusing the request of Potiphar’s wife to sleep with her, led to a series of events which allowed Jesus to come down through the preserved Jewish line and die for our sins.
Let us be men and women who take make decisions every day to be pure for the sake of Christ and his commission.
