May the revelation & understanding of God’s word lead us to sorrowful repentance, grieving over our sin and disobedience; but may the word of God also move us to lean upon the good news of Jesus Christ, rejoicing in forgiveness and the giving of the Holy Spirit, who helps us to obey God’s word.
