Dr. Goehring is a licensed clinical psychologist and the director of Formation Counseling Services (FCS). He has been providing therapy for individual adults and couples for 33 years. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is also an ordained Cumberland Presbyterian minister and an adjunct faculty member at Richmont Graduate University (Atlanta).
Dr. Goehring is devoted to using the tool of Christian psychotherapy to help people discover a deeper relationship with God in the midst of the challenges of life. He is also dedicated to developing and providing the most excellent clinical services possible for all those served by FCS. In addition, he loves to practice various forms of prayer and he considers laughter and playfulness among the finer things in life.
Dr. Goehring’s special interest areas include spiritual formation, anxiety, depression, marital therapy, and pre-engagement counseling.
