Prayer occurs weekly on Wednesday at 8.30 pm to 10 pm at Room B112 (formerly Room 8), first floor in the Education Block. Pastor Rama will be on hand to lead a devotion and pray for the ministries of the church as well as for individuals.
The regular group that attends also goes visiting the sick and ministering to those at home who cannot go out the church on a Sunday.

Prayer Points
For Our Leaders and All Who Serve in FBC
For our Elders Peter Ng and Richard Ng, Honorary Pastor Moby Noah, the entire Church Board and Assembly Of Leaders - as they commit themselves to serve FBC; for a sense of great joy to reside within the lives, no matter how difficult or arduous the tasks may be.
For a sense of unity as all who serve will concentrate their efforts and emotions on Him and not themselves, and hence, find unity of purpose and be bound by His Spirit as one.
For sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in discerning how their respective ministry should be conducted. For boldness and commitment in their service.
Pray that the Lord will protect all from the temptation to legalism and a judgmental spirit that stifles enthusiasm and discourages others from serving.That the Lord protects all from pride and service to please men.
That many more in the church will be energised by the Holy Spirit to step up to contribute their time and gifts for the mission of the church to our community.
That many people in the community may find Christ as their Lord and Saviour through the ministry and witness of our church.
Ministry's Activities And Events
1. Newcomers' Welcome Dinner held on a quarterly basis... That those who come to this event will feel welcome and find friends they can relate to in the church so that they too can grow with the fellowship.
That those who are not yet Christians will continue to come and be part of the Subang Family and ultimately come to know Him.That all those who come will eventually attend our Life Groups and start to grow and serve Him.
For Wong Yow Sin as he plans and co-ordinate the weekly visitors and newcomers' records.
2. Sermon's Current Theme: Series On
Thy Kingdom Come
That all the preachers will be anointed by the Lord to encourage, rebuke and inspire the church to a lasting commitment to bearing fruit for our Lord.
Pray for our regular preachers like Peter Ng, Arnold Lim,
Tan Swee Teng, Lee Yee Dian and invited guest speakers as they labour to serve in this area
Pray that the Lord will raise up more preachers gifted in preaching and teaching His Word faithfully. That the Lord will raise up more Bible Study leaders to teach His Word and transform lives so that this church will be a fruitful church.
3. For More Pastors
For the Church Board to be sensitive to the HS in recruitimg the right people for these positions. That He will bring pastors who have integrity and who love Him, and will be able to effectively join the leadership team in serving and equipping the church. For Pastor Joshua Tan who joined us in December 2012.
4. Workers in Areas of Need
AV MInistry - That the Lord will send fresh workers as the current crew is severely short-handed, overworked and desperately need a break. Pray for Harvard, Chee Sing, Khoo, Francis and Danny. That the AV team will receive the best training for their job ahead.
That the Lord will supply enthusiasts to start a video ministry to highlight ministry needs in announcements and capture sermon videos as well as participate in creative ministry.
Worship Leading and Training - That the Lord will send more worship leaders and musicians to serve Him. That these worship leaders and musicians approach their tasks with a firm sense of commitment and prayerfully execute their duties to the best of their abilities to glorify Him.
That the Lord will raise up soloists and gospel singers from our church who will be able to minister in song at worship meetings and evangelistic rallies.
Parking/Traffic Wardens-That the Lord will bring more people to serve and ensure an orderly flow of traffic on Sunday monrings.
5. Evangelism Activities
Campus Ministry - we praise God for Kiang Teck Hoe and his team for their dedication in this vital ministry. Pray for the international students from Iran, Pakistan, Africa and others to come to know our Lord.
For the Alpha and Beta Courses this year that these courses will be an opportunity for people to grow in the Christian faith, and for helpers to serve joyfully in this area.
Praise God for our Celebration Service held every first Saturday and that it will draw in the Campus community and those who are not able to come for Sunday worship services.
6. Playgroup & Playgroup Extension (PEP)
Praise God for this pre-kindy group that is an extension of the current toddlers' playgroup. Praise God for the children who are in PEP. Pray for wisdom, patience and good health for Set Fong and Weng Hun who are the teachers. Pray for the children's parents. Pray for the Lord to raise up more workers for this ministry.
Praise God for bringing in new children for the playgroup. Pray for the parents as the team seeks to reach out to them through friendship and care. Praise God for one couple through this ministry has come to know the Lord. The group is always in need of workers. Pray the Lord of the Harvest will bring forth workers to this ministry

7. Sunday School and Vacation Bible School
Praise God for the faithfulness and patience of the teachers who teach the Word of God to the children week by week. Pray for wisdom in their preparation for the week's teaching. Praise God for the children who have been attending the classes each Sunday and for the Word to take root in their lives from an early age. Pray for their parents that they would be good role models in their families.
8. Social Concern
That the Lord will bring many children to our Sunday School from the poorer Indian community in Subang Jaya. That the Lord will give us wisdom in learning how to minister to these children and have them integrate with our Sunday School children.
For Pastor Lawrence and Lydia as they minister to the Angsana Flats Community in USJ1, for their Children's Home in Port Dickson and the 12 caregivers.
9. Library (Logos)
Pray that it will become an integral part of our church's ministries as well as providing the resources for our members' spiritual growth. Pray also for the church and Bible Study leaders to be diligent and use the library to study and grow so that they can feed the flock. Pray for more volunteers to serve in this vital ministry.
10. Sick
For many amongst our midst who are sick and that the Lord continues to minster to them.
11. Boys’ Brigade
Praise God for the many children who have signed up for the Boys’ Brigade. That the Lord will raise up many more officers to serve in the brigade and bless the children. For Captain Vincent Loh and his Team to serve Him faithfully.
12. LIFE Groups
Pray for the continued growth of all the Life Groups, for the extension of more Life Groups to more locations and the incorporation of many more worshippers into these Life Groups as well as the provision of more leaders.
Pray for the new Central Two LIFE Group comprising graduates from the Alpha course and for leaders to guide this group as they meeti on Wednesday nights.
13. Young Peoples' Group
That more young adults will see this group as a priority and hence come regularly for fellowship and Bible study. For Pastor Joshua Tan as he leads the group.
14. Karis Ministry
Pray for Robert and Tina Chee for their dedication in helming this ministry. Pray for good health and a wonderful time of fellowship as the Karis members come together for their regular meet every Thursday.
Pray for their monthly health talk series starting in February, that the talks will draw the people in the community to know about FBC and its ministries.
15. Youth Ministry
For this ministry especially the Friday night groups that meet in church, to grow in numbers and in spiritual develoment. That many more will come to see the need for Bible study and fellowship. For Pastor Mark Tan as he leads the youths.
16. Church Camp (May 31 - June 2)
For June Teh and Committee as they prepare for this year's camp in Ipoh, for the speaker
Dr Ian Buntain, for people to take this opportunity to learn more about God's Kingdom and what it means, and a time of bonding in fellowship.
17. Building Fund
That the Lord will continue to guide the Development Committee with wisdom on how to carry out the project. That the Lord will open up the hearts of worshippers o contribute to the extension of his House in a generous manner.
18. Our Mission Partners
a. Martin & Diana, Joyous - Pray for them to enjoy a deeper and closer walk with the Lord. Remember Joyous who is doing 'Kumon' daily to strengthen her English and Mathematics.
b. Anita for her ministry in Cambodia. Remember the village and bus ministries Anita is responsible for as well as involved in arranging groups arriving for short-term trips.
c. Yu Keong & Limin: Pray for their cafe venture set up as a business venture to reach out to the minorities.. For their children Pip and Jo who are studying in Hebron School in South Inda. Pray for safety.
d. Andrew Ng : Pray for protection and wisdom in his responsibility as the Chairman of MMK (migrant ministry in Klang). Pray for wisdom, strength and good health for him.
This ministry touches the lives of Nepalese, Banglas, Myanmarese, etc .
e. Chris Bontar : Pray for good working relationship with Ps Joseph and other staff in this ministry and for safety and protection as he ministers in the OA villages.
f. Johan & June John: Continue to remember them in their ministry in Indonesia, and in their ministry to university students in Java.
